Winter has come... A season to enjoy home, to look inside ourselves, to nest...

Algunas postales de invierno:

Some winter postcards:

My liquidambra is such a punctual tree! tha last autumn day had its last leaf... and today is gone...

Who says a rainy days is a grey one?

Algunas cosas que amo del invierno:

Some things I love about winter:

Eating chocolate thinking: "it´s chilly, I need some extra calories."

Taking a long nap without thinking "oh no, I want to sleep but it is such a sunny beautiful day! what shall I do?

Usar medias de lana locas

Wearing crazy wool socks

Tejer junto al hogar

Knitting next by the fireplace...

Tomar mate junto al hogar...

Having a "mate" next to the fireplace...

Having  homemade cheese and chicken pancakes next to the fireplace...
(this is is a special  "let´s see what can we find in the fridge" recipe kind)  "little pie" cooked for me!

Acurrucarse junto al hogar...

Snuggling by the fireplace...

Today it is the shortest day of the year... but since tomorrow, even if you don´t notice it, days start  to "grow like a little dog step" says my grandma. I don´t know what kind of dog inspired this phrase but I love it!
