Casorio bilingue y finde en el Tigre - Bilingual weedding and weekend at El Tigre

Me dejan compartir algunas imágenes?

You might remember the love story of my brother in law: Leo and his french fiancee Aurelie (you can check it here:  here ) . Well, they got married last friday! . It was a simple and beautiful ceremony (as most of simple things are). She designed and DID all the decoration for the party! . Let me share with you some images...

"Birds" was the decoration topic chosen.
The tableclothes: antique family heritage.
The vases (actually bottles) had love french songs written on them...

The guests left messages in the jail...

Even it seems a sunny day, it was a chilly, windy and rainy one!  it even hailed!!. But it is said that if it rains in you wedding, it is a signal of everlasting love... and I know it will!!!

Las sillas de los novios.

The groom´s and bride´s sits.

Here it is the bride...fresh and beautiful. Proud with her biiiigg belly. The gentelman is my "little pie", cheek to cheek with Salvador.

After the wedding, on an awful winter night, we went to spend the weekend to "El Tigre", in Parana´s delta. This one of our favourite places. We visit it every single year (once at least) since we are engaged.

Aaaaamoooooo los colores del Tigre.

I looooove the colors that can be found in Tigre.

There is a huge and awesome open air market: Puerto de frutos. There you can find plants, flowers...

...frutas frescas...

....fresh fruit...

...todo tipo de productos de mimbre...

...all kind of wicker items...

...and this is one of mi favourite shops: there you can buy all sort of vases, jars and bottles that you can imagine!

We also visited the Art Tigre Museum... a bit of culture...

There we met the oniric creatures of Milo Locket...

Y el simpático humor de Felipe Giménez...

And the lovely humor of Felipe Giménez...

"Lo que todavía no aprendimos a decirnos"

"Those words we still  don´t know how to say eachother"

The museum building is a piece of art itself: the antique Tigre´s casino, built during the Belle époque.

Can you imagine those ladies going down the stairs... dancing in everlasting night parties... young man betting their heritage...?

It seems romantic, but to be honest, I prefer it as it is now, open and full of people!.
Gambling and ostentation were replaced by beauty and spirit...

Gracias a Ale(www.violavioleta.blogspot.com ), descubrimos "La casona La Ruchi".

If we already loved Tigre, now we love it even more!!. Thanks to  Ale (www.violavioleta.blogspot.com ), we discovered "La casona La Ruchi". An awesome antique house placed by the river...

These are the cranes they made there on 6th August, (in the same date, but in 1945: U.S. drops atomic bomb on Hiroshima). In my opinion, the project´s idea is not getting stuck to pain and sadness of war, but looking to future hopefully, really willing peace and working together for it.
Making war, droping bombs, are the result of some people´s decision.People that were once children and teenagers. That is why, inspired on Ale´s proposal, I carried this project out at school.  And the students show really interested on it!!! It was great!!!

There, everything is a detail made with love...

Tejiendo al atardecer...

Knitting in the sunset...

And here with Ale (right)!!! I really wanted to meet her, and she is what she transmits trough her blog: sweetness, kindness, warmth, creativity, enthusiasm (and her parenta are lovely too!!!, you feel at home with them!!!)

Isn´t it lovely?

GRACIAS ALE!!

The wool, in some way, I also got it thanks to her. Ale gave me the address of a wonderful place for all who like knitting and felting:Fibras Naturales. There I was able to get exactly the same wool I was needing to finish a sweater!!! THANK YOU ALE!!!

Buen finde!!!

Have a nice weekend!!!
